I specialize in personal portraiture and take delight in capturing the essence of people. People tend to come to me for brand images for artists; dancers, actors, DJs, and change-makers, but I’m equally as eager to capture humans in love and life; maternity, engagement & family. I’ll support you to feel held in the process, guide you in bringing your authentic self to the lens, so that you look at your photos and say, “Oh! "My shoot with Yana was very different from other shoots I have made. Instead of focusing on poses or just dancing freely, she made me focus on what I wanted to give to the viewer, what feelings I wanted to capture. I work as a dancer and a Dj and she continued to remind me of how I feel when I work with my art and let that be my focus point. This way it became more effortless and more authentic.
